At Linby cum Papplewick C of E Primary School, our Governing Body plays a vital role in supporting and challenging the school to ensure the highest standards of education and wellbeing for all our pupils. Governors work closely with the Headteacher and staff to set the strategic direction of the school, monitor performance and ensure resources are used effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\nI\u2019ve been a governor since my children started at Linby cum Papplewick Primary School in 2014, serving as vice chair and now chair of governors. My responsibilities include setting the school\u2019s strategic vision, holding the leadership team to account, and ensuring strong financial oversight. I also act as the link governor for Health & Safety and GDPR, helping to maintain a safe and compliant environment for pupils and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I bring extensive experience in governance, strategic leadership, and stakeholder engagement, alongside strong analytical skills developed through managing complex budgets and projects in my professional career. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Linby cum Papplewick Primary School is a wonderful school with a clear vision to provide a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment where every child is nurtured, challenged, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
